Privacy Policy

Shark Biteee attaches great importance to the privacy of its customers. In addition to the rights and obligations regulated by Taiwan’s "Computer Processing Personal Data Protection Act" and other relevant laws and regulations, in order to ensure the protection of consumers’ personal data, privacy, and consumer rights, during the transaction process, Shark Biteee will use the personal data of consumers in accordance with Article 8  of the Personal Data Protection Act, and will do its best to protect the privacy of user data. Shark Biteee has formulated a privacy protection policy to inform you of the terms it abides by. We recommend that you (Refers to the user) carefully read the following contents of the privacy protection policy.

 

Definition of usage data

1.Shark Biteee’s purpose for collecting data is to conduct customer management, VIP member management, and internal statistical investigations and analysis. The period and geographic scope of data usage is the operational period and operational regions of Shark Biteee.

2. The content of the privacy protection policy, includes how Shark Biteee handles personal identifying information when a user uses Shark Biteee, which also includes how Shark Biteee handles personal identifying information that is shared when cooperating with business partners.

3. The privacy protection policy does not apply to goods or services provided by companies outside of Shark Biteee, it also does not apply to any staff that is not employed and managed by Shark Biteee.

 

Data acquisition

1. When you open the Shark Biteee service, you will be asked about information related to your e-mail account. Once you have successfully registered or successfully logged in to use our services, the relevant information you provided will be retrieved.

2. Shark Biteee also has access to personal information obtained from business partners. Shark Biteee collects data to improve the service and advertising content provided to you, or to fulfill your needs for a particular product, or to notify you of new products or special events.

 

Data sharing and disclosure methods

1. Shark Biteee will not sell or lend user data.

2. Shark Biteee has the right to collect, process, and use other information or certification documents including but not limited to the name and mobile phone number of the customer(or the customer's representative), in order to provide online services, discounts, etc.

3. Customers are free to choose to fill in personal information, but if the data provided is insufficient or incorrect, Shark Biteee may not be able to provide complete services to such users. If there is any impact on the rights and interests of customers, the customer shall be responsible for it.

4. Shark Biteee has the right to share the acquired customer data with relevant companies and business partners in order to provide various services, discounts, event news, or conduct market surveys.

5. In the following cases, Shark Biteee will provide user data to other persons or companies, and will do so after obtaining your consent, such as activities that are jointly organized with business partners that collect personal information, or we must provide your personal information to other companies and authorize persons to provide you with the services you need. (If we do not notify you in advance, then such companies are not authorized to use your personal information for any other purpose other than to provide products or services). Shark Biteee must do so to comply with the requirements of laws, courts, prosecutors or other government agencies, or if we find that your use of the Shark Biteee service violates the terms of the Shark Biteee service agreement or specific usage guidelines for products and services.

6. To protect the user's privacy, we cannot help you search for other user's information. If you have an applicable legal issue that requires the viewing of other users' information, please be sure to provide a report to the police or government authorities. We will fully cooperate with the police or government authorities to investigate and provide all relevant information to assist the prosecutor's work.

 

Preservation of user information

1. Shark Biteee will do everything in its power using reasonable technology and processes to ensure the safety of all personal data.

2. With regard to personal data, customers have the right to request Shark Biteee to conduct searches, make copies, make corrections, to stop data collection, processing, use, and deletion in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and relevant laws. When the customer exercises the right of advance disclosure, the customer must contact the customer service of Shark Biteee to apply.

3. The data provision method, processing period, search fee and payment period for the customer to exercise the right of the above are all handled in accordance with laws and regulations, the business rules of Shark Biteee, and the relevant provisions of the service agreement, and the necessary costs may be charged at discretion. However, according to Article 10 and Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law, Shark Biteee to fulfill business operations requirements and comply with the legal preservation periods will consider whether or not to fulfill the customer’s request.

 

Privacy protection policy revision

Shark Biteee can amend this policy at any time. When we create significant modifications to the provisions applicable to personal data, we will post a notice on Shark Biteee, and will not notify users individually, please pay attention to such amendments or changes as they arise.
